What students say:

I loved my first writing class with Miss T so much,
I signed up for the next one.
The class has helped me face my fears and write! It’s also helped me with other weird things like hanging a picture wall, which I was procrastinating for a year because I didn’t know how to do it, now it’s done and I’m ready for the next thing!
Miss T is a great teacher and is able to encourage while providing constructive feedback. Being with this community of creative souls is the highlight of my week!"
- Amber M, Singapore

“Terianne’s course has inspired me to write without fear; to just get it down. Then in each lesson she has given me insights and revelations about the craft that are actively helping my process. Right now, I feel like a writer."
--Victoria Martin, UK

"Terianne has been a fantastic mentor. She provides real insight into what makes your particular writing sing and steers you away from stumbling blocks. The classes also have a great peer-to-peer feedback format and are enhanced by fun and creatively enabling exercises. No regrets!"
--Antonia Turner, UK

"I'm on my third run of the workshop – truly no bull (with heart) and loads of actual writing and workshopping. Terianne has given me the gift of writing 'in flow', where the inner critic is silenced and my fingers tap away at that first draft. A godsend for the neurotic writer!"
--C. S., Singapore

"This course is called No Bull, i.e. a no bullshit course. This means, to me, you get a clear choice in how you write. With a lot of the course devoted to reading out a piece then getting feedback from the group and then finally from the excellent facilitator, you soon find out what the fundamentals of your style are and what works and what does not work. And sometimes it’s fine to continue with what does not work, but at least you’re responsible for it. In that space of responsibility, you find yourself working on and improving those elements which you’re happy to fine-tune – it does not mean you have to pander to everyone’s taste but you know fully well the sort of feedback you could potentially get if you continue writing the same way. In addition, it helps you accept criticism. If you can handle that effectively, it can only encourage you to continue writing. And thankfully, that’s what I’m doing. No Bull gives you the confidence to move forward and actually write – which is all you can ask for in a writing course."
